From gold, paper to plastic – the history of money

A one-hour tour pertaining to the topic of money

There are many questions about the evolution of payment methods. Who invented money and what did it used to look like? What does a tally stick have to do with a German saying? What impact did the Romans have on money? How it changed throughout the course of time from the Sumerians to present day, how you can use money on a counting table to calculate and how quickly a currency can become unstable – those are all topics that visitors can learn more about throughout our exciting journey through history. In addition, there will be a unique opportunity to examine a transparent cash machine.
