The theory of numbers

The diversity of numbers is presented in this section. It’s all about the discovery of zero, the most mysterious of numbers – prime numbers – and, of course, pi. Visitors are set to find out quite a few surprising facts from the world of numbers. Who knows, for instance, that there are 42 methods of determining pi, that the biggest known prime number has four million places and that insects use prime numbers for their own protection?
